Stampede Season

Welcome to July! The Calgary Stampede is fast approaching. What I enjoy most about the 10-day annual celebration of western spirit is the chance for me to meet residents at all the Ward 1 Stampede breakfasts and BBQs. This year I’m looking forward to the Silver Springs Community Association’s 5th Annual Family BBQ and Celebration of Canada’s 150th, Rocky Ridge Royal Oak Community Association’s 9th Annual Stampede Breakfast, and Scenic Acres Community Association’s Annual Stampede Breakfast. If there’s a Stampede event going on that I missed, let me know by contacting my office at 403-268-2430 or email me at ward01@calgary.ca.
