“Everything you look at can become a fairy tale and you can get a story from everything you touch.” – Hans Christian Andersen.
Did you know that April is reading month, with International Children’s Book Day on April 2nd, and #WorldBookDay on April 23rd? KGCA Tot Time is supporting reading with a book theme this month. Every week in April, we will be having a different focus on reading: through book crafts, story time, and a visit from the Calgary Library Book van. Follow the group on Facebook to find out more and how to join us on Wednesday mornings.
This month, I encourage you and your family to get inspired to read more. Tot Time will also be hosting a book drive this month to support Calgary Reads. If you have books to donate, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Check out some of the other reading resources within our newsletter, and thank you for reading!
