April showers bring May flowers, I wonder if we will be growing icicles next month! Spring has arrived and with it comes melting snow and dangerous icy conditions in our parking lot and around our community. Parents, please take extra care when walking on and around icy patches at the school. The melting and then freezing cycle has made certain areas very slippery. Our caretaking staff is doing what they can to keep our entrances as clear of ice as possible, but a little caution can also go a long way!
We had an incredible Open House on March 1st, an opportunity to showcase the school and provide information about French Immersion programming and Catholic Education to those unfamiliar with faith-based schooling. Thank you to all who were able to attend.
Easter Break has arrived! A reminder to all that Calgary Catholic schools will be closed from Friday March 30th through Friday, April 6th. We will re-open on Monday, April 9th.
Our next School Council meeting will be Wednesday, April24th at 7:00 p.m. Agenda items will be posted on the school’s website. I look forward to seeing you there!
Dropping off and picking up students in our school parking lot is creating safety and congestion concerns. We have not yet had an incident; however, we have received calls from concerned parents about the safety of our children. Please be safe when navigating the roadways, whether on foot or by car.
