April at St. Ambrose School

Students and staff at St. Ambrose School begin the month of April with the highlight of our Christian calendar, the resurrection of Jesus on Easter Sunday.

In April, our grade 6 students will be going to the Police Interpretive Centre as part of their Science curriculum and elementary students will get a taste of Canadian history with a performance about the birth of the CPR. Other classes are also exploring various field trips. Junior high students have moved into their final trimester of CTF with courses ranging from learning about the Olympics, Master Chef, Yoga, Investments, and many other course topics addressing occupational areas.

We continue to rehearse for our junior high drama production Beauty and the Beast Jr. Our student cast, directors, technicians, and set and costume designers are busy at work in the final month of preparations.

Our junior high athletics are focused on badminton, Danceworks and flag football. Many school-based practices are taking place as well as district level games and meets.

St. Ambrose School wishes to extend the joy of the Easter season to the families of Arbour Lake.
