Welcome to April and hopefully some warm weather!

We wanted to start with a huge thank you to our sponsors that helped make our Easter Egg Hunt a huge success! We want to send out a big thank you to Creekside Dental, Sobey’s Nolan Hill, Kincora Residents Association, Symons Valley United Church, Bricks for Kidz and Girl Guides of Canada for their generosity to the community, without these great community partners we couldn’t put on fun events like this.

See you soon at our AGM where we will provide you with updates on the past year and give you updates on other exciting things happening in the community, including the Symons Valley Amenity Association. A great event to connect with your elected officials and meet or join your community association.

That said, we need dynamic, innovative, and experienced volunteers to join our board of directors!

At our AGM, on April 10, 2017 at 7 pm at Symons Valley United Church, we’re looking for members to fill some of the gaps on the Kincora Community Association board. We’re looking for some members who are able to work as president, communications, membership, and secretary.

Take some time to think about how you might be able to fit in this dynamic role and how it might fit with your goals and volunteer ambitions. This is a voluntary position that will help you:

  • Gain a sense of belonging and accomplishment
  • Expand your network
  • Set a positive example as a community leader
  • Impact the Kincora community
  • Contribute to a cause you care about in a strategic big picture manner

What is required from you?

As a member of the board you are responsible for contributing to the board and connecting to the community. This will allow you to be more connected in the community and to be involved in fun community building events.

Time Commitment:

3 – 6 hours per month for a director. This includes a once a month 1.5-2-hour board meeting.Kincora
