Autumn Birding

Autumn is one of the best times of year for birding, during which you can see, hear and learn about more than 150 bird species. In Calgary we are fortunate to have an abundance of natural areas and waterways where birds congregate. All birding course sessions are held in the great outdoors – in Fish Creek Provincial Park and other natural areas. Outings are conducted by Gus Yaki, a lifelong naturalist who has birded around the world – and other experienced instructors. Course starts September 4. Registration required and fees apply. www.friendsoffishcreek.org/programs/birding-course
