Hidden Valley Hanson Ranch is the official Hidden Valley Community Association Newsletter. Hidden Valley Hanson Ranch is a free glossy covered magazine style newsletter published monthly (12 times per year), and delivered to every household, apartment and business in Hidden Valley and Hanson Ranch. Consisting of community news, event notifications, philanthropic initiatives, real estate statistics, and babysitter lists, Hidden Valley Hanson Ranch community newsletter has strong readership and advertising visibility.

Hidden Valley Community Association
The Hidden Valley Community Association serves the residents living within the geographic area of Hidden Valley and Hanson Ranch. HVCA is a Not for Profit Society that holds an LOC (license of occupation) with the City of Calgary for the Hidden Hut & rink facility. Sources of ongoing funding are from internal operational initiatives such as membership fees and program revenues as well as casinos and grants. This organization is governed by a Board whose structure and term is set out in their By-laws. The Board meets and does reporting, on a regular monthly basis, along with a scheduled AGM (Annual General Meeting).

In the City of Calgary’s 2012 municipal census, Hidden Valley had a population of 11,799 living in 3,867 dwellings, a 1.2% increase from its 2011 population of 11,657. With a land area of 4.3 km2 (1.7 sq mi), it had a population density of 2,740/km2 (7,110/sq mi) in 2012.
Residents in this community had a median household income of $78,127 in 2000, and there were 6.4% low income residents living in the neighborhood. As of 2000, 20.6% of the residents were immigrants.
